Job Summary
We are hiring a VB .NET Developer to work on a large-scale VB .NET Migration Project for a leading Financial Services Group. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in VB .NET development, application modernization, and production support, with the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and enhance applications using VB .NET.
Participate in the migration of legacy VB .NET applications to ASP. NET.
Analyze business requirements and provide technical solutions.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues.
Integrate applications with SQL Server and other systems.
Perform Unit Testing and support UAT activities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the migration lifecycle.
Provide production support and application enhancements.
Required Skills
Relevant hands-on experience in VB .NET development.
Strong knowledge of VB .NET, .NET Framework, and Visual Studio.
Experience working on application migration or modernization projects.
Preferred Skills
Experience in the Banking or Financial Services domain.
Exposure to C#, ASP.NET, or .NET Core is an added advantage.
Familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps, or other version control tools.
Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
